Este é um método que permite fazer a reutilização de um resíduo obtido a partir da produção de biodiesel.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;Contudo, antes de fazer o sabão é necessário remover o metanol que ainda se encontra misturado com a glicerina. A remoção do metanol faz-se por destilação (simples ou fraccionada) da glicerina. Para a recolha do metanol durante a destilação é fundamental conhecer o ponto de ebulição do mesmo. O p.e. do metanol é aproximadamente 65ºC. O metanol pode assim ser recolhido para posterior utilização. Este processo é importante dada a perigosidade do metanol.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;O metanol é um produto facilmente inflamável e tóxico. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;As &lt;strong&gt;frases R&lt;/strong&gt; (Natureza dos riscos específicos atribuídos às substâncias e preparações perigosas) do metanol são: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R 11&lt;/strong&gt; – Facilmente inflamável.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R 23/24/25&lt;/strong&gt; – Tóxico por inalação, em contacto com a pele e por ingestão.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R 39/23/24/25&lt;/strong&gt; – Tóxico: perigo de efeitos irreversíveis muito graves por inalação, em contacto com a pele e por ingestão.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;Perante os riscos de manuseamento do metanol, as &lt;strong&gt;frases S&lt;/strong&gt; (Conselhos de prudência relativos a substâncias e preparações perigosas) são: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;S 7&lt;/strong&gt; – Manter o recipiente bem fechado. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;S 16&lt;/strong&gt; – Manter afastado de qualquer chama ou fonte de ignição – não fumar. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;S 36/37&lt;/strong&gt; – Usar o vestuário de protecção e luvas adequadas.S 45 – Em caso de acidente ou indisposição consultar imediatamente o médico (se possível mostrar-lhe o rótulo).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;O sabão produzido desta forma pode ainda conter hidróxido de sódio, o que lhe confere o carácter químico básico ou alcalino. Por isso, esta actividade experimental apenas tem um carácter didáctico, dado que o sabão produzido não deve ser usado. A sua utilização para lavagem das mãos, por exemplo, vai depender do ajuste do pH do sabão até ter o carácter químico neutro.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;"&gt;O hidróxido de sódio é um produto corrosivo. O hidróxido de sódio apenas apresenta uma frase R:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;R 35&lt;/strong&gt; – Provoca queimaduras graves.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;As frases S do hidróxido de sódio são:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;S 26&lt;/strong&gt; – Em caso de contacto com os olhos, lavar imediata e abundantemente com água e consultar um especialista.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;S 37/39&lt;/strong&gt; – Usar luvas e equipamento protector para a vista/face adequados.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;S 45&lt;/strong&gt; – Em caso de acidente ou indisposição consultar imediatamente o médico (se possível mostrar-lhe o rótulo).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;"&gt;A produção de sabão é descrita&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span glicerina recolhendo o metanol (Ponto de ebulição = 65ºC) num frasco para ser reutilizado na produção de biodiesel.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Enquanto decorre a destilação medir 30 mL de solução aquosa de hidróxido de sódio 6 mol/L para um gobelé de vidro de 100 mL e aquecer a cerca de 50ºC&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Quando terminar a destilação transferir a glicerina sem metanol ainda quente para um gobelé de 250 mL e adicionar a solução aquosa de hidróxido de sódio quente.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Continuar a aquecer a mistura a 45 ± 5ºC, agitando constantemente com uma vareta de vidro.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Mantar o aquecimento até a mistura começar a solidificar.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Verter para o inerior de uma forma.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Deixar ficar na forma até solidificar.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Nota:&lt;/strong&gt; Antes de usar este sabão deve-se testar o O tubo de ensaio deve estar inclinado e nunca na vertical e a extremidade superior do tubo de ensaio deve estar voltada para o licar onde nao estiver qualquer pessoa.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Aquecer até observar a mudança de cor (cor de tijolo) e o aparecimento de um precipitado cor de tijolo. Interromper o aquecimento assim que a cor surgir.
